Tajweed Practice ("the App") is developed and operated by Ebaid LLC. This policy explains what information the App handles, why it is handled, and the choices available to you.
The App uses Quran.Foundation APIs and content services to provide Quran text, word data, tajweed markup, translations, Tafseer, recitation metadata, audio, and content updates. Quran.Foundation operates services in the broader Quran.com and QuranReflect ecosystem. The App does not access QuranReflect accounts, reflections, posts, or other user-generated content, and it is not an official Quran.Foundation, Quran.com, or QuranReflect application.
The App does not require an account. The following information may be stored locally so the App can provide features you choose to use:
This local information is not sent to Ebaid LLC or Quran.Foundation. The current version does not create a cloud profile or synchronize this information between devices.
When the App retrieves online content, ordinary technical information may be processed automatically, including IP address, request headers, timestamps, requested resource, and Apple App Attest verification material. This information is used to deliver requested content, protect API credentials, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain service security. The App does not add your name, email address, bookmarks, notes, recordings, advertising identifier, or reading history to these requests.

These providers may process ordinary connection information under their own privacy practices and may process it in countries other than your own. Ebaid LLC does not sell, rent, mine, or share your personal information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or data-broker purposes. Information may be disclosed if required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the App, its users, or service providers.
Quran reading, learning activity, and bookmarks may reveal religious beliefs or practices and may be treated as sensitive information in some jurisdictions. The App minimizes this risk by keeping those activities on your device, not requiring an account, not using analytics or advertising SDKs, and not transmitting this activity to Ebaid LLC or Quran.Foundation. The App does not use religious activity to train artificial intelligence models.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, local information is handled at your request to provide the App's features and settings. Network and security information is processed as necessary to provide requested Quran content and for the legitimate interests of securing, maintaining, and preventing misuse of the service.
Local preferences and progress remain until you remove them or uninstall the App. Cached Quran content and downloaded audio remain until they are cleared, replaced during content maintenance, or removed with the App. Technical service logs, if retained by Ebaid LLC or its providers, are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and legal obligations.
You can delete individual bookmarks or downloaded content where controls are provided. Uninstalling the App removes its locally stored data from the device, subject to normal device backups controlled by Apple and your settings.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or information about personal data processing. Because the App does not maintain user accounts or receive your local App data, Ebaid LLC generally cannot identify or retrieve information stored only on your device. You may contact us about network or support information using the details below.
The App does not use analytics, advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party advertising profiles.
The App is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. No account is required, and learning activity remains on the device. A parent or guardian may contact us with a privacy concern.
The App uses encrypted HTTPS connections, an app-owned proxy, short-lived access tokens, and Apple App Attest to protect Quran.Foundation API access. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but Ebaid LLC applies reasonable technical safeguards appropriate to the limited information processed.
We may update this policy as the App, service providers, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will also be communicated in the App or App Store listing when appropriate.
