These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Tajweed Practice ("the App"). The App is developed and operated by Ebaid LLC. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and Apple's applicable App Store terms.
The App provides Quran reading, listening, Tajweed learning, translations, Tafseer, lessons, and quizzes. It is an educational aid and is not a substitute for instruction from a qualified Quran teacher or religious authority. Tajweed highlighting, translations, Tafseer, and educational material may contain errors or differences of scholarly interpretation.
Quran text, word data, tajweed markup, translations, Tafseer, recitation metadata, audio, and content updates are provided through Quran.Foundation APIs and services associated with the Quran.com ecosystem. QuranReflect is part of that broader ecosystem, but the App does not access QuranReflect accounts or user-generated content. The App is independently operated by Ebaid LLC and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or an official application of Quran.Foundation, Quran.com, or QuranReflect.
You may view and use this content within the App for personal, noncommercial learning. You may use the App's sharing controls for ordinary personal sharing. You may not use the App or its access to extract, scrape, bulk-download, resell, sublicense, republish, or create a competing dataset or service from Quran.Foundation content.
You agree not to misuse the App, interfere with its operation, bypass App Attest or other access controls, probe or overload its services, automate requests outside normal App use, reverse engineer protected service credentials, or use the App or its content for unlawful, hateful, extremist, deceptive, or harmful purposes. You must preserve the integrity and respectful context of Quranic content.
The current version does not require an account or accept public user-generated content. Bookmarks, progress, preferences, and downloads are stored locally as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your device, backups, and any content you choose to share through other applications.
Ebaid LLC owns the App's original software, interface, branding, and locally authored educational material, subject to third-party and open-source licenses. Quran content, translations, Tafseer, recitations, fonts, and other third-party materials remain subject to the rights and licenses of their respective owners. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any content to you.
Online features depend on Apple, Cloudflare, Quran.Foundation, content providers, and network availability. Ebaid LLC may update, correct, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, compliance, content integrity, or service operation. Offline content may require periodic online validation and may be corrected, replaced, or removed when a provider issues an update.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. Ebaid LLC does not warrant that educational explanations, translations, Tafseer, recitations, or automated comparisons will meet every user's needs.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ebaid LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Ebaid LLC may restrict access to online services when necessary to address abuse, security threats, legal requirements, or violations of these Terms.
We may update these Terms as the App, service providers, or legal requirements change. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
